The Women’s Community Revitalization Project (WCRP) a PA non-profit corporation started in 1986 became Philadelphia’s first and only women-led community development organization. WCRP develops affordable housing and provides supportive services to their residents with the goal of helping families learn to maintain housing stability.
WCRP has obtained/organized financing for the preservation of the Karen Donnally – Iris Nydia Brown (KDINB) townhomes. The Karen Donnally Townhomes (32 units) and Iris Nydia Brown Townhomes (12 units). KDINB LP is a general occupancy (families with children) development in nine (9) two and three story buildings in single family townhomes and duplex configurations. The two projects are located within a mile of one another in the Norris Square and Fairhill neighborhoods in Eastern North Philadelphia. The development consists of 18 2-bedroom units, 20 3-bedroom units, and 6 4-bedroom units. Two bedroom units range from 910 to 1,000 sf, 3-bedroom units range from 1,248 to 1,280 sf and 4-bedroom units are 1,540 sf.
